Phil Boyd

  Phil has lived in Danville for nearly 46 years with his wife Donna. Born in Danville, Phil grew up in Pelham, North Carolina with his parents and two siblings. Phil attended high school at Piedmont Academy in Providence, NC where he graduated in 1973. Phil attended Rockingham Community College and NC State University. Shortly thereafter he met Donna Goble (also from Danville), was married in 1977 where they started a wonderful life together.

Phil and Donna have two children and two grandchildren, and are expecting two more grandchildren in 2023. Probably best known for his musical ability, Phil is an exceptional vocalist and keyboardist, playing with the local group “Backstreet” for a number of years. Phil currently serves as musician and vocalist for two churches, one of which is in Danville, and the other in Reidsville, NC. Phil worked for over 30 years at Corning, Inc. as a Quality Control Technician, Department Supervisor, and Production Specialist until the plant closure in December 2009.

Phil earned his Real Estate License in December 2017. He has been proudly affiliated with Gibson Realty since 2018, and is grateful for the opportunity to have represented such a wonderful firm. Phil is honored to be offered an opportunity to represent Wilkins and Co Realty and is looking forward to continued success as he begins his association with Wilkins and Co in 2023.
