Anne Pritchett
Anne Pritchett was born in Danville and attended Danville Public Schools. She graduated cum laude from Stratford College with a BA in Elementary Education and Sociology, and a minor in Psychology. She is a graduate of the REALTOR Institute of Virginia (GRI); she is a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), and is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Virginia and North Carolina. Anne is a 2004 graduate of The Thomas C. Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership at the University of Virginia. She has been married to Whitney Pritchett for 45 years and they have grown children, Ashley and Whitney, and three grandsons.
Anne has been active in real estate since 1990, specializing in residential sales and handling commercial properties. She was the 1991 Rookie of the Year; was Realtor of the Year in 2001 and again in 2007, and again in 2011, and has been an award-winning top producer/honor society member for the past 24 years. She was the 2001 President for the Dan River Region Association of Realtors and still is an active leader in the association. Anne is a past member of the Board of Directors for The Virginia Association of Realtors and served VAR through committee work and as a Trustee for Virginia Real Estate Educational Foundation (VREEF). She is a 15+ year Honor Society member for VAR. Anne also manages to find time for community involvement and is a past member of the Commission of Architectural Review Board and served as Vice Chair on City of Danville Planning Commission. She has served as a director for various local organizations and associations, including Goodwill Industries of the Danville Area. Anne is a member of First Presbyterian Church, where she is a deacon.
Anne's previous careers include teaching, legal office management, commercial property management, and under the guidance of her father/builder/developer – real estate is not only a passion, but a way of life for Anne.
