Creasy Carlson
Debra Creasy Carlson comes to
Wilkins and Co after practicing law for 18 years in Danville. She has
recently received her Virginia real estate license and now joins Wilkins
and Co as a new Realtor. Her law practice focused on real estate law and
in doing so, she has represented hundreds of buyers, sellers and lenders
and has performed thousands of real estate closings. With this unique
professional experience, she brings years of knowledge of real estate
transactions and contracts to help her buyers and sellers navigate the
process of buying and selling homes.
Debra grew up in Danville and
graduated from George Washington High School in 1982. She then continued
her education at Danville Community College and graduated in 1984 with a
degree in Liberal Arts and in Business Administration. In 1986 she
graduated from the College of William and Mary with a B.A. in Government
and received her law degree from Mississippi College School of Law in
1989.
She currently teaches in the
MBA program at Averett University and has also taught real estate law at
both DCC and at Averett in the undergraduate programs. This year she
received the affiliate of the year award from the Dan River Region
Association of Realtors in January and was named as an Outstanding
Alumni by the Danville Community College (DCC) Alumni Association in May
of 2008.
She is married to Ken Carlson,
a computer integration specialist with Siemens Corporation and they have
two children, Conner and Marlene.
