Barry Richmond, Realtor

Barry was born in Danville and raised in Caswell County.  He is a graduate of Bartlett Yancey High School.  He attended Danville Community College, received his bachelors degree in business administration from Averett College, and completed his Masters studies through Christian Life School of Theology, Columbus, GA.  Barry also received a Management Certification from the Moore School of Management at the University of South Carolina. He is married to Delores, who is employed with American National Bank.  

Barry’s business background includes eight years with Nestle Refrigerated Foods, three years with Gold Toe Brands, Inc., and various organizational development consulting jobs.  Barry has been an associate with Wilkins & Co Realtors less than a year after most recently completing twelve years of service in post secondary education with National College.   

Barry has been active in motorsports journalism as a photographer with both Winston Cup Scene and Speedway Scene Magazines and currently is the voice of  NASCAR Noise with WAKG.  He has been a broadcaster for 26 years with WBTM and WAKG.  

On a more personal level, Barry is on the Pastoral Staff of Full Gospel Fellowship Church.  He serves on numerous boards including March of Dimes, Goodwill, Area XVII Workforce Investment (WIB Board), and Crossroads Christian Counseling Services.  Barry is an active member of the Riverview Rotary Club.  He enjoys bicycling, weight lifting, charcoal rendering, and time with his Sheppard-chow mix puppy, Abbie.

Barry’s passion in life involves helping people to discover the best in themselves and assisting them in transitioning from consumer to investor.  He believes that the latter can be achieved by helping people make wise decisions in their real estate purchases.  Barry looks forward to serving you.
